Late 19th-early 20th century, Korean
Set of Korean nong cabinets decorated with inlaid wire, shell, ray skin, ect. These cabinets have large bold inlay dragons amongst clouds with flaming pearl. The metal hardware with butterfly shape and engraved with original hinges. Bottom stand with Korean character and emblems around bottom base. Each side of base is pierced with open design to center. Interior with early blue printed paper design. The back of both cabinets lacquered brown with plain design. These cabinets date from the late 19th-early 20th century, the lacquer is painted over fine gauze which is on top of the wood.
